
Lectures, Courses, and Programs as a celebration
Autism Centers in UAE and gulf countries celebrated for the third year the Autism day in the Gulf, 4th April, which was adapted by the Gulf Association for Autism in Riyadh September 2004. The Association aims at introducing the symptoms of autism to the public and teaches them how to deal with it properly, especially after the number of centers has increased and after establishing the Association, which contains representatives from gulf countries. Her Highness Shaikha Jameela Bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, vice president of the Family Supreme Council in Sharjah, General Director of SCHS, is representing UAE.
Sharjah center prepared the following programs for this event:

1. Counseling sessions for parents listed on the waiting list (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
2. A lecture by Dr. Ali Sabir Mohammed Hassin, neurologist, entitled: The Theory of Nerve Mirror for Autism Children (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
Thursday 5 April 2007
1. A lecture by Dr. Ali Sabir Mohammed Hassin, neurologist, entitled: The changes of Autistic Teenager (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) at Sharjah Culture House.
2. Entertaining & Educational activity only for the brothers and sisters of Autism children at Sharjah Autism Center.
