SCHS's deaf students play with snow at Dubai Ski

On Thursday, 4th, June, 2009, a group of students from Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services visited Emirates Mall in order to give the administrators at Dubai Ski & Magic Planet an acknowledgement certificates as an appreciation for their cooperation with SCHS through the academic year. During their visit, students were accompanied by Abed Muti Mohammed, social worker, Mona Mohammed, Arabic language teacher, Fatin Radwn, chemistry teacher, and the journalist Hazem Shihata. The head of Dubai Ski & Mgic Planet Mr. Slavoy Ladytic appreciated this kind gesture by SCHS. It motivates the workers of Dubai Ski & Magic Planet to be always ready to cooperate with SCHS and provide its students with pure pleasure.

Mr. Slavoy Ladytic expressed his sincere feelings to continue cooperating with SCHS in the future in order to bring pleasure and joy to the hearts of people with special needs as much as possible. The highly appreciated the work of SCHS in providing services for people with special needs.

Mr. Abed Muti Mohammed highly appreciated the role which Dubai Ski & Magic Planet plays to bring pressure and joy to the students of Al Amal kindergarten and school for the deaf. It is very important role for the integration process, which SCHS is trying to achieve for its students.

He deeply thanked the workers of Dubai Ski & Magic Planet. He has also thanked all the institutions cooperating with SCHS such as Dream Land Dubai, Om Qowane, and others. Mr. Abed Muti Mohammed considered any support for people with special needs to be a contribution to the whole society.

After handing the acknowledgement certificates, SCHS started playing with the snow under the supervision of their teachers. They were wearing heavy clothes because of the cold. Then, they moved to Magic Planet where they had a lot of fun playing various games.
