bullet "Responsibility" is not just a title, it is a whole culture

On Friday, 23rd, January, 2009, SCHS held the closing ceremony of the 19th Al Amal Camp, which is organized under the title 'responsibility' with delegations from gulf countries and Syria. The ceremony started with the national anthem of United Arab Emirates followed by a blessed recitation from the holy Koran by student Nada Mirza from kingdom of Bahrain. The small girl Hadeal Ahmed from Syria gave a speech on behalf of the children, who participated in the camp. On behalf of all children, she deeply thanked Her Highness Shaikha Jameela Bint Mohammed Al Qasimmi, General Director of SCHS, for giving them the chance to be part of this wonderful experience.

Hadeal Ahmed, who gave the speech without preparation or written text, has emphasized the importance of this camp for children with special needs. They have learned so many experiences that enriched their knowledge of life. She directed her sincere feelings towards the various committees of the camp, which enabled this event from drawing a smile on children's faces, who awaits this event eagerly each year.

Then, the head of the Kuwaiti delegation Mr. Hisham Attar gave a speech on behalf of participating delegations. He congratulated Her Highness Shaikha Jameela Bint Mohammed Al Qasimmi, head of the organizing committees, volunteers, and participants for the well organization and for the sincere efforts paid to provide services for guests.

Mr. Hisham Attar said in his spontaneous speech: "the title of this event 'responsibility' is not just a word we say and repeat during our residence in the camp; it should be a culture that controls our behavior and conducts.

Then, the head of the camp along with a number of members from the organizing committee honored the participating delegations by distributing gifts and souvenirs. Her Highness Shaikha Jameela Bint Mohammed Al Qasimmi, General Director of SCHS, gave memorial armors to heads of delegations that did the same in return.

Delegations' members exchanged souvenirs and gifts among each other. Then, all participants expressed their gratitude for Her Highness Shaikha Jameela Bint Mohammed Al Qasimmi, General Director of SCHS, by a storm of clapping. In spite of the rain, the ceremony was concluded as usual by lowering the flags of participating countries. Then, flags were handed to Her Highness Shaikha Jameela Bint Mohammed Al Qasimmi with all respect and decency as being national symbols of these countries.
